Night quest

3 people went fishing in the middle of the sea at night and all you could see was mountains. It was nice and peaceful but it was too dark so we had to go back but we could not because we did not have something to push back to the island.

One hot sunny day in the morning I was cooking food for breakfast and my house was shaking so I went outside to have a look at what it was. It was a very big fish. I realised that my house was on a big snapper fish.  So I went back inside to cook my food again and my food was burnt! So I had to start again then my house shook again!  So I had to quickly cook my food, then when it was done I went outside to feed the fish. 

The problem was that the fish was stuck between two islands and it could not move at all.

So i went inside and got some food so i could put food in the water and led the fish out of the two islands.

It was cold on the death land and the other land was nice and peaceful and beautiful.

On one of the lands there were sunflowers and a beautiful tree on the other land everything was dead! It was so sad to see the land dead.

narrative writing horse in a tree

this is what i have been lately. i have been doing narrative writing here it is.

Narrative Writing horse in a tree.

One cold wet morning I went for a walk. It was peaceful,

calm and beautiful. On my walk I happened to come

across

a group of horses.  One of the horses was white and

brown. I scared a horse and it started to run through the

long grass and the trees. 

Suddenly the horse ran into a tree. Its head got stuck in

the tree and it couldn’t move. All of the other horses were

running around because they were scared.The other

horses were neighing.

The horse that was stuck in the tree was kicking her legs

in all sorts of directions to try and get free. 

The horse is seeing the inside of the tree and it is feeling

very uncomfortable.

I can fix it by pulling the horse out of the tree. So what I

did was I got a rope and tied it around the horse and pulled

her out. 

I am a blue level writer  

My narrative has an:introduction,problem and a solution

in paragraphs,including great word choices.

NZ sea lions

There are only about 10,000 of them left and they are
protected under the National Parks and Wildlife Act of 1972.
One of the main reasons why their numbers are low is due to
the males often killing the pups. They do so because they view
them as a threat to their own dominance.

• New zealand sea lions are very rare animals.
• Most of them live on New zealand’s islands in the far south
• near Antarctica.
• Male sea lions are called bulls.Females are cows,and young
• ones are pups.
• No humans live on these islands.
• They are safe habitats for sea birds,seals,and sea lions.
• Sea lions are large mammals.
• Sea lions come onto land along the coast to rest.
• When the pups are big enough,the cows go out to sea to
• hunt for food.
• The pups live together in pods when their mothers are at
• sea.
• Each tag has a number so that they can keep track of the
• pups and tell them apart from one another.

Sea mammals

•  Mammals are animals that are                                                                warm-blooded.
• They have hair on their bodies.
• All mammals have babies. 
• Mammal babies grow inside the mother's body for a long time.
• Large sea animals such as sharks and killer whales prey upon smaller sea mammals.
• Same sea mammals have been hunted by man and may disappear forever.
• Sea mammals often live in family groups.
• They remember each other and have ways of talking to each other.
• Sea mammals get a very good supply of food from the sea.

Polar bears

Polar bears are amazing animals.

Polar bears have different physical characteristics.

These include transparent fur,sharp teeth, claws,black skin.
They have 2 layers of fat which is useful because they like
to live in cold places.

Polar bears eat different things.

They eat bird eggs,seals and they dirck milk. They go
hunting in the winter too.

Did you know  anything about Pandas? Well, you're in luck because I'm going
to be telling you about them like their predators,habitat,food and their physical
characteristics.you should read this because it's interesting and it’s going to
have lots of facts in it.🐼

       What Pandas eat

Pandas eat bamboo and they eat leaves and bark and they eat grass.

Pandas predators

Pandas predators are people,owls,snow leopards,yellow-throated martens,
jackals.

                                                         Habitat

Giant pandas live in a few mountain ranges in south central China, in Sichuan
, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. They once lived in lowland areas, but farming
, forest clearing and other development now restrict giant pandas to the
mountains.

                                                         

                                       physical characteristics

Giant pandas have a distinctive black and white coat, with black fur around
their eyes and on their ears, muzzle, legs and shoulders. Their thick, wooly
coat helps to keep them warm in their cool mountain homes. Adult pandas are
about 150cm from nose to rump, with a 10-15cm tail.
